By downloading, installing, or using Learnfold ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Learnfold is a native learning workspace that helps you create and study personal courses from topics and source material. Course planning, lesson generation, and questions may use an Apple on-device model or a learning-agent service that you choose and configure.

3. Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
• You are responsible for any third-party model, learning-agent, or network charges associated with services you configure.
• You must have the right to import and use any documents, images, links, or other source material you provide.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app or a connected service without authorization.
• Use the app to violate the rights of others.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

Learnfold's source code is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3 with the additional distribution permission stated in the project license.

Brand names, logos, and other trademarks are not licensed for reuse except as required to identify the app or as otherwise permitted by law.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the app.

8. Your Content

Your source material, course content, questions, and learning projects remain yours. You are responsible for reviewing generated material before relying on it.

9. Third-Party Services

The app may use Apple platform services and learning-agent or model services that you select. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to services we operate at our discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
